Health and Human Trafficking Training Program, Virginia

· Co-instruct and deliver a specialized, trauma-informed curriculum to train medical doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals on the identification, care, and reporting of human trafficking survivors in clinical settings.

· Align training modules with CDC, AMA, and WHO guidelines, incorporating the latest evidence-based practices and survivor-informed insights.

· Provided expert testimony as a survivor-leader to state legislative committees, contributing to the unanimous passage of landmark anti-human trafficking legislation in both the House and Senate.

· Partnered with policymakers, legal advocates, and survivor coalitions to shape language and intent of bills focused on prevention, victim support, and systems reform.

· Met individually with lawmakers and policy staff to educate them on the lived realities of trafficking, bridging the gap between survivor experience and legislative action.

Kids Climate Club & Love Mother Earth, Teacher, Charlottesville, VA   April 2023-Present

· Instructed 325 Kindergarten through high school students in 5 STEAM Activities as well as planting a seed and seedling. Activities ranged from educating the students about pollinators through a pollinating activity to transitioning a t-shirt into a shopping bag to raise awareness to fast fashion pollution.

· Taught all students at Clark Elementary School in Charlottesville, Virginia.

· Taught the majority of the students at Ivy Creek Elementary and High School for special students.

· Commissioned by Charlottesville City Schools to create Kindergarten through 3rd grade STEAM curriculum and programming.

· Creating a book series for trafficked survivors to help in healing through storytelling.

· Working with a team of Harvard students in writing, collecting, and editing short stories.

· Developing a 2-for-1 book where one side is the compilation of stories written by survivors for survivors.  The other side is a manual complete with both resources to help habilitate as well as a comprehensive list of domestic resources including agencies, safe houses, law enforcement, etc.

· Conducting writing workshops to encourage healing and personal storytelling to be able to empower survivors while creating confidence for victims exiting out of trafficking.

· Creating a full-length feature documentary for trafficked survivors to help in healing through storytelling as well as raise awareness from a legislative aspect to agency awareness.

· Working with a team of Harvard students in writing and marketing.

· Have interviewed 30+ individuals involved in combating human trafficking, including a comprehensive list of individuals representing Virginia and domestic agencies, safe houses, law enforcement, politicians, and prominent survivors, including Virginia’s first survivor to receive vacature in the state of Virginia.
